The Opportunity
Support a major Australian Government technology environment by creating clear, accessible documentation for ICT projects and ongoing operations.
What You’ll Do
Contribute to documentation supporting the modernisation, security and ongoing development of critical technology platforms and applications.
Role Details
Locations: ACT, Victoria or New South Wales
Working arrangement: Hybrid. Canberra is the primary office; alternative locations and flexible arrangements may be considered.
Contract: 12 months, with extension periods totalling 24 months
Estimated start date: This date depends on the evaluation and security clearance process. Comprehensive security vetting must be completed before successful applicants can commence.
Maximum hours: 7.5 hours per day
Travel: Required travel to and from the work location is at the candidates expense

What You’ll Do
- Develop business requirements specifications, high-level designs, detailed designs and test plans.
- Produce implementation plans, test results, as-built documents, operations manuals and standard operating procedures.
- Create lessons learned reports, training materials and user documentation with project, design, business and BAU teams.
- APS5-equivalent capability, including Content Authoring Level 2 and User Experience Design Level 3.
- Current ICT process and technical knowledge, supported by ongoing professional development and improved ICT practices.
- Ability to obtain an NV1 security clearance and work effectively within a small team and the broader environment.
