Community Occupational Therapist

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Community Occupational Therapist to join our client’s team in Sydney. In this role, you’ll work with NDIS participants to provide person-centered, evidence-based interventions that enhance daily living skills, community engagement, and overall well-being. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, access professional growth opportunities, and enjoy flexible working arrangements tailored to your needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to meet client needs
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to support daily living, community involvement, and work skills
  • Utilize teletherapy and telehealth as required to reach clients effectively
  • Work independently within community settings while managing your own caseload
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of allied health professionals to support client goals

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Eligibility for General AHPRA registration
  • Full open Australian Driver’s License
  • Eligibility to work long-term in Australia

 

Experience:

  • Proven experience in community settings, working independently to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Familiarity with neurodevelopmental disorders, degenerative conditions, and complex needs support
  • Strong ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for diverse client needs
