Senior Contract Administrator - Major Commercial Project - Sydney

Senior Contract Administrator opportunity with a leading Tier 2 commercial builder delivering a major complex new build project valued $1Bn+

With a strong pipeline of secured work across major commercial, health, education and technically challenging projects, this builder has built an outstanding reputation for delivering complex projects with a collaborative culture, excellent systems and a well-resourced project team.

This role will see you joining an experienced commercial team on a landmark project, working alongside a Commercial Manager, Contracts Manager, multiple Senior Contract Administrators and Contract Administrators.

The Role:

• Manage the commercial delivery of major subcontract packages from procurement through to final account
• Prepare, negotiate and administer subcontract packages, including claims, variations and progress payments
• Monitor project costs, budgets and forecasting to support commercial performance
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Team and Commercial Manager to drive programme and commercial outcomes
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients while supporting risk management and contract administration

Required Experience:

• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• 5+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator with a head contractor
• Experience delivering major commercial new build projects valued $100M+
• Strong knowledge of procurement, subcontract administration and cost management
• Ability to work collaboratively within a large, well-resourced project team
