Chief Financial Officer | Crown Sydney

An exceptional opportunity exists for an accomplished finance executive to join Crown Sydney as Chief Financial Officer. Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CFO will play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance, strategic growth, and operational excellence across one of Australia's premier integrated resorts.

This is a highly visible and influential leadership position, providing financial and commercial guidance across Gaming, Hotels, Food & Beverage, Entertainment and broader resort operations. As a trusted adviser to the CEO, you will bring financial discipline, commercial insight and constructive challenge to key business decisions, while helping shape and deliver Crown Sydney's growth and performance agenda.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and Executive Team to drive business performance and strategic decision-making.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management across the property.
• Deliver insights and analysis that support revenue growth, margin improvement and cost optimisation.
• Strengthen commercial finance and business partnering capability across the organisation.
• Build strong relationships with Group Finance and Shared Services to ensure effective collaboration within a matrix environment.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial reporting, processes, controls and governance.
• Develop and mentor finance talent while building a high-performing finance function.

About You

You are a commercially minded CFO or senior finance leader with experience operating in a large, complex and customer-facing organisation. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and are recognised for your ability to influence stakeholders, improve performance and lead through change.

You will bring:

• Significant senior finance leadership experience in a complex operational environment.
• Strong expertise in commercial finance, business partnering, forecasting and performance management.
• A proven track record of driving revenue growth, profitability and cost discipline.
• Experience leading transformation, capability uplift and operating model change.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Executive and Board level.
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving and matrixed environment.

Gaming experience is not essential. Candidates from hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, entertainment or other operationally intensive industries are encouraged to apply.
