Synergie Australia is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to join a well-established civil construction team delivering projects across Darwin and the Northern Territory.

This is a long-term, casual opportunity offering $50–$60 per hour, depending on experience, with ongoing work across a variety of civil construction projects.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the project team, you’ll take the lead on daily site operations and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and coordinating site crews, subcontractors and daily construction activities.
• Coordinating plant, materials, equipment and resources to keep projects moving.
• Planning works and managing construction activities against project schedules and deadlines.
• Preparing weekly construction programs and monitoring project progress.
• Maintaining high standards across safety, quality and HSEQ compliance.
• Monitoring the performance and quality of employees and subcontractors.
• Identifying site issues early and implementing practical solutions to minimise delays.
• Working closely with Project Managers, clients, consultants, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Providing practical construction input into project planning and estimating.
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with project specifications, standards and site requirements.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who can confidently take ownership of a site, lead from the front and keep projects running smoothly.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Civil Construction Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Leading Hand or similar.
• Strong civil construction experience, ideally across residential and commercial subdivisions.
• Proven experience supervising crews, subcontractors and plant.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and site operations.
• Good knowledge of HSEQ requirements and safe work practices.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate multiple site activities.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams.
• A practical, hands-on approach to getting the job done.
