Equipment Operator

SCOPE: To complete assigned work in grounds and support maintenance services throughout the district. EQUIPMENT OPERATOR I EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: REQUIRED: • High school diploma or equivalent or special diploma required • Two (2) years’ experience in the operation of light/heavy equipment on grounds, around buildings, and/or over roads. CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES: REQUIRED: • Valid Florida Driver License. • Must obtain a CDL Class B within one (1) year of hire date. EQUIPMENT OPERATOR II EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: REQUIRED: • High school diploma or equivalent or special diploma required. • Two (2) years’ experience in the operation of light/heavy equipment on grounds, around buildings, and/or over roads. CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES: REQUIRED: • Valid Florida Driver License and CDL Class A.
