About Powerhouse
Powerhouse Museum is located at the intersection of arts, design, science, and technology and plays a critical role in engaging communities with contemporary ideas and issues. It is the custodian of more than half a million objects of national and international significance and is considered one of the finest and most diverse collections in Australia. We are undertaking a landmark $1.3 billion infrastructure renewal program, led by the creation of Powerhouse Parramatta; expanded research and public facilities at Powerhouse Castle Hill; the heritage revitalisation of the iconic Powerhouse Ultimo; and the ongoing operation of Sydney Observatory.

About the Role
Do you enjoy events, community engagement and being part of big ideas? Join the Powerhouse team as a Parramatta Festival Volunteer and help bring Powerhouse Parramatta to life.
Volunteers will support events, creative activities and festival experiences, helping to create a welcoming and engaging environment for visitors of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome visitors and provide information about festival activities and Powerhouse Parramatta
Support the delivery of workshops, activations, talks and community events
Assist with festival operations, including set-up, pack-down and wayfinding
Contribute to a safe, inclusive and engaging experience for festival participants
Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers and community members
