Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ansible DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Ansible automation, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ansible Playbooks, Ansible Tower, and the Ansible Automation Platform, along with experience in designing and developing containerized solutions and integrating with HashiCorp Vault. This role requires a proactive professional capable of leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance automation, ensure seamless CI/CD workflows, and deliver robust event-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ansible Automation:
    • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for automation tasks.
    • Manage and optimize Ansible Tower/Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) configurations.
    • Implement Event-Driven Ansible (EDA) workflows to automate complex systems.
  • Containerization and Orchestration:
    • Design, develop, and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes (K8s).
    • Manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Vault Integration:
    • Integrate and manage secrets using HashiCorp Vault for enhanced security.
    • Ensure seamless integration of Vault with CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows.
  • DevOps and CI/CD:
    • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to ensure smooth application delivery.
    • Collaborate with teams to automate application lifecycle management and deployments.
  • Network and Systems Knowledge:
    • Apply deep understanding of networking and system architecture in automation tasks.
    • Troubleshoot and optimize system and network configurations for automation workflows.
  • Collaboration and Support:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and develop solutions.
    • Provide support for existing automation workflows and continuously improve processes.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proven experience as a subject matter expert in Ansible playbooks, Ansible Tower, and Ansible Automation Platform.
    • Hands-on experience with Event-Driven Ansible (EDA) design and development.
    • Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s) container orchestration and development.
    • Solid understanding of integrating and managing secrets with HashiCorp Vault.
    • Advanced knowledge of GitLab and DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Networking and Systems Knowledge:
    • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, system configurations, and infrastructure automation.
  • Problem-Solving:
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex automation challenges.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in developing large-scale automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Certifications in Kubernetes, Ansible, or DevOps practices.
