Labourforce is currently seeking a trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to join a busy manufacturing and maintenance team based in Geebung, QLD.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with pumps, piping systems, and production equipment in an industrial environment. The position offers stable weekday hours and long-term ongoing work.

Shift Details

Monday to Friday
7:00am – 3:30pm

• Day shift role
• Overtime and call-outs may be required during breakdowns
• Ongoing position with consistent hours

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant and production equipment
• Assembly and disassembly of pumps, piping, and mechanical systems
• Preventative maintenance and fault finding
• Installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Use of hand and power tools
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Working closely with maintenance and production teams

What We’re Looking For

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Previous experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or industrial environments
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• Physically fit and capable of hands-on work

Desirable (but not essential):

• Forklift (LF) Licence
• Welding or fabrication experience
