Your new role
As a Laboratory Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Managing and supporting a team of 32 individuals across Laboratory Technicians and Supervisors.
• Maintain staff training and progression.
• Leading by example and offering a hands-on approach regarding technical duties.
• Ability to prioritise and ensure the laboratory is operating in line with OHS requirements whilst meeting client deadlines.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Data management and documentation of laboratory equipment.
• Scheduling maintenance services on laboratory equipment.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a leadership role along with a technical understanding of laboratory requirements for mining industry.
• Valid working rights in Australia (sponsorship opportunities are available)
• Ability to pass required medicals and DAS.
• Ability to commit to 8:6 DS roster.
