Maintenance Supervisor Mining

  • Competitive all-inclusive flat rate + super, based on experience
  • Located at Murrawombie, NSW
  • 5/2/4/3 or 7/7 roster options
  • FIFO from Brisbane available

About Our Client
Our client is a leading mining services provider delivering safe, efficient and reliable maintenance solutions across mining operations. They are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance activities and lead a skilled site-based crew.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Oversee the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs of heavy mining equipment and plant
  • Lead and mentor Heavy Diesel Fitters, Boilermakers, Auto Electricians, Service Persons and Trade Assistants
  • Ensure maintenance and repairs are completed safely, on time and to required quality standards
  • Work closely with Maintenance Planners and Superintendents
  • Monitor machine information, defects and maintenance records
  • Facilitate and participate in regular toolbox talks
  • Ensure maintenance crews are appropriately certified and competent
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with site safety, environmental and company requirements

What You Will Need

  • Trade Certificate in Plant Mechanics or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar Maintenance Supervisor role
  • Experience working in an open-cut coal mining operation
  • Current QLD Class C Drivers Licence
  • Own set of hand tools
  • Current G1, G8 & G9
  • G2 RIIRIS402D 
  • RIIVEH201D Operate Light Vehicle
  • RIISAM202D Isolate and Access Plant and Equipment
  • Current Standard 11
  • Current Queensland Coal Board Medical
  • High Risk Work Licence
  • Working at Heights ticket
  • Elevated Work Platform ticket
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Caterpillar and Liebherr machine experience is highly regarded
