About the Role
As a Restoration Technician, you will attend residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, storm, mould, and accidental damage events. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, solving problems, and helping people through challenging situations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Emergency make-safe works
- Water extraction and flood restoration
- Installation and monitoring of drying equipment
- Mould remediation and containment setup
- Strip-outs and demolition of damaged building materials
- Detailed moisture mapping and documentation
- Thermal imaging inspections
- Contents handling and cleaning
- Completing job reports, photos, and site documentation
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients during stressful situations
- Participating in an after-hours on-call roster
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess (not limited to):
- IICRC qualifications (WRT, AMRT, FSRT)
- Experience in restoration, building, construction, demolition, or insurance repairs
- Experience operating drying equipment
- Current Driver's Licence
- White Card
- Working with Children Check
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good level of physical fitness and capable of manual labour
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Reliable, punctual, and professionally presented
- Ability to pass a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
