Mechanic

Heavy & light vehicle mechanics are needed in Gingin asap, paying up to $55ph + super.

Your new company
My client is a Western Australian heavy vehicle maintenance business based in WA and looking for qualified Heavy/Light vehicle mechanics in Gingin.
Your new role
In your new role, your duties will typically include:

• Servicing prime movers, rigid trucks and trailers
• Diagnosing mechanical faults
• Repairing engines, transmissions and driveline components
• Maintaining air brake systems
• Suspension and steering repairs
• Hydraulic system repairs
• Electrical fault-finding on heavy vehicles
• Roadside breakdown work
• Pre-start and safety inspections
• Preventative maintenance programmes
• Replacing bearings, hubs, brakes and wheel-end components
• Completing service reports and maintenance records

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a trade qualification and previous experience to be considered for the role, as your own tools will be your own tools.
Candidates on a short visa, including WHV, will be considered with the right experience.
You will also need your basic tools.

What you'll get in return
This is a long-term temp role if wanted and will pay between $50-$55ph + super.
