Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a skilled Accountant to join their finance team.

Your new role
Reporting to the CFO, you will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of the business while contributing to accurate reporting, compliance and process improvements. This position will suit a commercially minded accountant who enjoys working in a dynamic, high-volume environment and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

• Preparation of month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations and management reports
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management processes
• Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful commentary and recommendations
• Maintain fixed asset registers and assist with capital expenditure tracking
• Preparation and lodgement support for BAS, payroll tax and other statutory obligations
• Assist with year-end audit requirements and liaison with external auditors

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
• Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or Management Accountant position
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations and compliance requirements
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with ERP/accounting systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage non-financial stakeholders
