Driver Hire Tasmania is seeking a reliable and hands-on Warehouse & Yard Operator for a 3-week assignment commencing Monday 19 October with an established supplier of civil construction and environmental products in Moonah.

Working within a small and supportive team, this is a varied role combining warehouse and yard duties with customer interaction and general support across the operation.

About the Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Preparing orders for collection and delivery
• Receiving, organising and putting away stock
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-organised yard and warehouse
• Assisting walk-in customers with collections and enquiries
• General warehouse and yard duties
• Supporting the wider team wherever required

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical and comfortable working in a small team environment.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Previous warehouse, stores, yard or similar experience
• Current Forklift Licence
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A strong commitment to workplace safety
• Good attention to detail and an organised approach
• Willingness to be hands-on and contribute across a range of duties
• Availability to commit to the full 3-week assignment from 19 October
