Your new role
As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of major mining, energy and industrial projects. Working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of major mining, energy and industrial projects.
  • Deliver projects to agreed scope, schedule, cost, quality and safety objectives.
  • Develop, maintain and monitor project schedules, delivery plans and milestone tracking.
  • Coordinate customers, suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
  • Lead project governance activities including documentation, approvals and stage-gate reviews.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues and change requests.
  • Prepare and deliver project updates, risk assessments and performance reports to customers and key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain teams to support successful project execution.
  • Manage customer acceptance processes, project close-out activities and final documentation handover.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale projects, ideally valued at $100M+.
  • Background within mining, energy, rail, utilities or similar sectors.
  • Strong project control capability, including risk management, scheduling, reporting and stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project scope, schedule, cost and risk.
  • Experience managing project governance, documentation, approvals and stage-gate processes.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to coordinate customers, suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong customer-facing project management and stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including management of budgets, forecasts, project costs and contractual obligations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business or a related discipline.
  • PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent Project Management certification will be highly regarded.
  • Current Australian driver's licence and the ability to travel domestically as required.
