An experienced Project Manager is needed to lead industrial electrical works.

Your new company
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded Tasmanian contractor with a strong presence across industrial and commercial projects. With continued growth and a healthy pipeline of upcoming work throughout the North West Coast, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team and play a key role in the successful delivery of projects across the region.

Your new role
Reporting to the Electrical Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of industrial electrical projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and within budget.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing multiple electrical projects from planning through to completion
  • Leading and coordinating electricians, apprentices and subcontractors
  • Monitoring project budgets, forecasts and financial performance
  • Preparing and managing variations, claims and contract administration activities
  • Providing on-site leadership and ensuring quality project outcomes
  • Managing subcontractor performance and stakeholder relationships
  • Producing project reports including cost-to-complete forecasts, labour planning and cash flow projections
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant safety standards, regulations and company procedures

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering industrial electrical projects
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage site teams
  • Sound commercial understanding, including budgeting and project financial management
  • Experience managing progress claims, variations and contract administration
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A strong commitment to workplace health, safety and quality
  • Current Electrical Workers Licence
  • Construction White Card
  • Current Driver Licence

Experience within industrial environments and exposure to complex electrical systems will be highly regarded.
