SAP Planner – Kewdale / Forrestfield
Action Workforce are currently seeking an experienced SAP Planner to join a leading logistics operation based in Kewdale / Forrestfield.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong SAP, inventory control and warehouse administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and solving problems.
About the Role
As a SAP Planner, you will play a key role in coordinating customer orders, inventory movements and reporting while ensuring stock accuracy and customer requirements are consistently met.
You will work closely with site operations, customer service teams and key stakeholders to ensure orders, inventory and reporting are managed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate daily inventory movements, including inbound and outbound shipments
Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels within SAP and warehouse systems
Complete daily stock takes and cycle counts, investigating and reporting variances
Perform daily stock reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Process and maintain accurate stock adjustments and transactions
Coordinate customer orders and ensure timely order release
Provide accurate reporting and KPI information to management and customers
Investigate inventory mismatches and implement appropriate corrective actions
Analyse inventory and operational trends to identify opportunities for improvement
Respond to customer enquiries and provide timely updates
Maintain accurate and auditable inventory records
Work closely with Operations, Team Leaders, Despatch and customer representatives
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across the operation
Support and train team members where required
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in SAP, inventory control, warehousing or transport
Strong SAP experience and computer literacy
Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Experience working with warehouse management or RF systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
The ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities
A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Previous inventory control experience is highly desirable
