Electrician

We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a permanent 7/7 roster.

With a strong focus on safety,Reliability and continuous improvement. They are seeking an experiencedMaintenance Electrician to join their site team in a permanent residentialPosition.

Your new role

• Reporting to the Maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of fixed plant electrical assets across the operation. Working a lifestyle-friendly 7/7 day shift roster, your duties will include:
• Conducting electrical inspections and preventative maintenance activities
• Executing planned and unplanned breakdown maintenance
• Troubleshooting, calibrating, repairing and servicing fixed plant equipment
• Reviewing drawings andspecifications to determine work methods and maintenance requirements
• Identifying, reporting andrectifying electrical defects
• Ensuring compliance with relevant electrical legislation, regulations and site procedures
• Contributing to a safe and productive work environment
• What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this position, you will have:

• Current QueenslandElectrical Licence
• Current Driver's Licence
• Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial, fixed plant, quarry or mining maintenance environments
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working on conveyors, crushers, processing plants or similar fixed plant equipment highly regarded
• Ability to reside within 100km of Mt Carbine or willingness to relocate locally
• Commitment to safe work practices and maintenance excellence
