Your new role
- Manage HR and payroll functions for approximately 50 employees, ensuring compliance with awards and legislative requirements
- Process weekly payroll, superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, QLeave, and employee onboarding and offboarding activities
- Supervise administrative staff and provide support across general office operations
- Prepare management reports, bank reconciliations, supplier payments, and monitor accounts receivable
- Coordinate insurance claims, vehicle and equipment registrations, and general compliance requirements
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and external stakeholders while assisting with contract administration and tender submissions
- Manage company procedures, reporting requirements, and support ongoing business operations
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar administration management role
- Proven experience managing staff, payroll, and administrative functions
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance requirements, and reporting obligations
- Experience using MYOB and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong leadership, organisational, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work autonomously, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
- Professional, resilient, and confident personality with a strong work ethic
