Health & Medical Waste Driver

• $39.89 per hour
• Located in Rockhampton, QLD
• 3-Month Assignment with Potential to Extend
• 812 Hour Shifts | Overtime & Allowances

About Our Client
Our client is a leading waste management provider delivering safe and reliable waste collection services. They are seeking a Health & Medical Waste Driver to join their team in Rockhampton.

What You Will Be Doing

• Safely deliver medical waste bins to healthcare facilities and collection points
• Load and unload medical waste bins from the delivery vehicle
• Lift and move medical waste bins weighing up to 30kg
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries
• Follow established safety procedures and protocols
• Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding deliveries, delays or issues

What You Will Need

• Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence automatic licence accepted
• Good work ethic and reliable attendance
• Ability to safely lift and move bins up to 30kg
• Good level of fitness for lifting, bending and extended periods of standing
• Strong commitment to safety
• Previous delivery driving experience is advantageous
• Forklift Licence is advantageous but not required
• Understanding that the role involves physical waste collection duties, not just driving
• Ability to complete required pre-employment checks and site requirements
