About our client

Our client is one of Australias largest privately owned steel manufacturers and distributors. They represent the union of some of Australias major steel companies, offering a wider variety of products and services to both the public and trade. By combining resources, they have built on their reputation as market leaders in the manufacturing and distribution of steel and steel building products.

What you will be doing

They are currently seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team out of their Narangba yard. This is a Monday Friday position, working 2pm to 10pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties;

• Stacking, packing roof products/ structural steel and preparing orders
• Loading and moving facia, gutter material with the gantry and forklift
• Inputting orders into computer system for production
• Manual handling

What you will need

• Drivers Licence + reliable transport
• High Risk Forklift Ticket + experience
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Computer savvy
• Gantry Crane experience advantageous
• Physically fit as role will be labour intensive
