About Our Client
Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin with with local, DIDO and FIFO opportunities available.
What You Will Be Doing
- Operating CAT 793 Dump Trucks in a safe and productive manner
- Hauling overburden and materials across the mining operation
- Completing pre-start inspections and reporting equipment faults or hazards
- Following site procedures, traffic management requirements and safety standards
- Working collaboratively with supervisors and other operators to achieve production targets
- Operating additional machinery where suitably skilled, verified and approved by site
What You Will Need
- Minimum 2 years' experience in coal mining operating
- Ability to provide an SSE/SSE Delegate signed Training Transcript confirming relevant operating competencies (CAT 793 minimum)
- Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11
- Current Drivers Licence
- Additional machinery competencies if necessary
