Contract Site Manager

Contract site manager required for commercial office projects across Sydney

Your New Company:Join a well-established fit-out and refurbishment contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial office, healthcare, laboratory and education projects across Sydney.

Your New Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day site management of fit-out and refurbishment projects ranging from commercial office upgrades through to specialist laboratory and education facility refurbishments.

Your responsibilities will include:
Managing all on-site construction activities from start to completion
Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site labour
Driving program and ensuring key milestones are achieved
Managing site safety and ensuring compliance with WHS legislation
Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and subcontractor management
Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
Monitoring quality control and defect management processes
Managing procurement, deliveries and site logistics
Maintaining project documentation and reporting progress to the Project Manager
Ensuring works are delivered within live and operational environments with minimal disruption

What You'll Need to Succeed:
Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects
Experience delivering office, healthcare, laboratory, education or institutional projects
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety requirements and quality processes
Excellent subcontractor management and coordination skills
Ability to work within occupied and live environments
Trade qualification or relevant construction background highly regarded
Current White Card
First Aid Certificate preferred
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
