Your new role
We are seekingexperienced Mechanical Fitters to work across sites within the Gladstoneregion. In this role, you will support maintenance teams undertaking fixedplant maintenance, reliability work, and shutdown activities, working across avariety of heavy industrial and process equipment. Enjoy lifestyle-friendlyrotating rosters featuring a mix of day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance across fixed plant equipment in heavy industrial and refinery environments
• Carry out planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Support shutdowns, outages and major equipment overhauls
• Undertake mechanical installations, repairs and pipework activities
• Work across equipment including conveyors, pumps, tanks, washers and processing systems
• Assist with reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults and failures
• Collaborate with crews and supervisors to deliver safe and efficient maintenance outcomes
• Ensure all work is completed in line with site safety standards and procedures

What you'll need to succeed

• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Experience in fixed plant maintenance (mining, smelter, refinery or heavy industry)
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Forklift Ticket
  • Dogger or Rigger Ticket
  • Front End Loader Ticket (highly regarded)
• Ability to work across day and night shifts where required
• Residing in the Gladstone region
