Enjoy a 9-day fortnight, weekly pay, and the opportunity to work in some of the community's most valued outdoor spaces. If you have experience in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance and enjoy hands-on work, we'd love to hear from you.
Your new role
- Maintaining parks, gardens, and public open spaces
- Weeding, planting, mulching, watering, and spraying trees and plants
- Driving council vehicles between sites and work locations
- Performing verge and streetscape maintenance to keep community areas looking their best
- Operating a range of equipment including whipper snippers, blowers, ride-on mowers, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws
- Undertaking physical outdoor work in a team-focused environment
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in Parks & Gardens, Landscaping, Grounds Maintenance, or Horticulture
- White Card (essential)
- MR or HR Driver's Licence (highly desirable)
- Certificate in horticulture or equivalent (highly desirable)
- Chain saw ticket (highly desirable)
- Ability to safely operate gardening and landscaping equipment
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
