An exciting opportunity has become available within a WA Government department for an experienced Strategic Marketing & Campaign Manager. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Strategy, this role will lead the delivery of high-profile marketing and communications campaigns that support key organisational objectives for a short-term three-month temporary contract with possible extension.
Your new role
As the Strategic Marketing & Campaign Manager, you will provide strategic leadership across marketing communications functions while overseeing campaign delivery and team performance. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the planning, delivery and evaluation of marketing campaigns.
• Managing relationships with external agencies, including media buying agencies
• Providing strategic marketing communications advice across the organisation
• Monitoring campaign performance and implementation
• Leading and developing a team of marketing professionals
• Collaborating with communications and digital teams to deliver integrated outcomes
• Ensuring campaign delivery aligns with public sector governance requirements

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong experience in marketing communications and campaign management
• Proven success delivering integrated marketing campaigns
• Experience managing agencies and media buying activities
• Previous leadership and people management experience
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• The ability to operate strategically while remaining delivery focused
• Government, local government or not-for-profit experience will be highly regarded
