Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Qualified Welder / Assembly Worker to join their manufacturing team in Yatala.This is a casual role offering full-time hours (8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday), with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position after 6 months. Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you'll be involved in welding, assembly, fabrication support, and general production duties.
Key Responsibilities

• MIG welding and fabrication work
• Assembly of industrial products and equipment
• Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
• Measuring, cutting, drilling, grinding, and general workshop duties
• Operating hand and power tools
• Packing and preparing products for dispatch
• Assisting with sandblasting, powder coating, and paint preparation
• Maintaining a safe and organised work area

What You'll Need

• Cert II Engineering (Welding) or Cert III Engineering (Fabrication Trade/Boilermaking)
• Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, fabrication, metal mechanics, or carpentry
• Strong MIG welding skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• LF Forklift Licence highly desirable
• Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
• Reliable work history and attention to detail
• Reside within reasonable commuting distance of Yatala
