Your new role
We are seeking Trade-Qualified and previous FIFO experienced chefs holding a Certificate III Commercial Cookery (or equivalent!)
These positions involve high-volume, bulk catering in mining camp environments across the Pilbara and Goldfields regions. You will be required to work both day and night shifts on 2:1 or 1:1 rosters, completing 10-12 hour days. All roles in FIFO in Perth, so applicants must be WA-based and available to mobilise at short notice.
What you'll need to succeed
We are ideally looking for chefs with bulk catering experience in FIFO environments.
You will also need:
- Certificate III in commercial Cookery (essential)
- Willingness to obtain a current National Police Clearance (paid for by Hays)
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
- Ability to complete all required sire and company inductions.
- Two contactable referees from the last 12 months.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, fitness assessment, and ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
- Residency in WA and the ability to fly out from Perth Airport.
