Seasonal Position Regional South Australia

About Our Client

WorkPac is currently seeking experienced Front End Loader Operators to join the 2026 harvest season across regional South Australia. Working at established grain transport facilities, successful candidates will operate front-end loaders within grain bunkers and load grain into road transport vehicles.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced operators looking for consistent seasonal hours within a safety-focused harvest operation.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Operating front-end loaders safely and efficiently within grain bunkers
  • High-lift loading and dumping grain into road transport vehicles
  • Operating machinery ranging from 2.5T to 5T capacity
  • Conducting pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Following site procedures and all workplace health and safety requirements
  • Working effectively within a seasonal harvest team

Equipment operated includes:

  • Caterpillar
  • Furukawa
  • LiuGong
  • Volvo

What You Will Need:

  • Current Front End Loader ticket/licence or competency
  • Demonstrated experience operating front-end loaders in grain, quarry, agricultural, or similar bulk material handling environments
  • Proven experience performing high-lift truck loading from grain bunkers
  • Ability to safely operate 2.5T5T loaders
  • Strong understanding of safe operating procedures
  • Current drivers licence and reliable transport
  • Excellent work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

Whats In It For You:

  • $42.00 per hour base rate + applicable penalties
  • $100 per day Away From Home Allowance
  • 8.59.5 hour shifts
  • Seasonal employment through to the end of December
  • Accommodation and meals provided where available
  • Monday to Friday work, with occasional Saturday shifts
  • Option to stay on site over weekends or return home and travel back for Monday starts
  • Work with an established harvest operation across regional South Australia
  • Multiple locations and start dates available
