Full-time Cook

Cosi Bar Ristorante is looking for a qualified and experienced Full-time Cook to join our team.

Salary Range – $75,000 - $85,000

Business Location – South Yarra, Victoria, 3141

Responisibilities:

⁠ ⁠Inspect and assess food items to maintain quality standards.

•⁠ ⁠Monitor and adjust temperatures of ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment.

•⁠ ⁠Prepare, cook, and present a wide variety of dishes.

•⁠ ⁠Season dishes appropriately throughout the cooking process.

•⁠ ⁠Portion and plate meals with appropriate garnishes, sauces, and accompaniments.

•⁠ ⁠Store food safely in temperature-controlled environments.

•⁠ ⁠Prepare meals to accommodate special dietary needs.

•⁠ ⁠Assist with menu planning and estimating food and ingredient requirements.

•⁠ ⁠Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen staff and apprentices when required.

Skills and Qualifications

•⁠ ⁠AQF associate degree, Certificate II, Certificate IV, or Diploma certification in relevant Hospitality qualification.

•⁠ ⁠Prior Experience as a Cook.

•⁠ ⁠Strong Knowledge of Cooking Methods and operating kitchen tools and equipment

•⁠ ⁠Ability to work Full Time

•⁠ ⁠Flexible to work on a rotating roster.
