About the Role
We’re looking for a Paint Sales Specialist to join a well-established retail store in Melville. You’ll deliver exceptional service, provide specialist advice to both retail and trade customers, and help drive store sales. It’s a hands-on role where your trade experience and communication skills truly shine – helping clients choose the right products and achieve great results.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert product, technical, and colour advice to retail and trade customers
• Drive sales across the trade desk and retail floor
• Assist with custom tinting, mixing, and color matching
• Manage inventory, shelf stocking, merchandising, and store presentation
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment
• Build lasting relationships with painters, builders, and DIY clients

About You

• Background in painting, trade, or paint retail (ideal for painters looking for a new direction)
• Confident communicator with a sales-minded, customer-first approach
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical product knowledge
• Organised, reliable, and comfortable in a hands-on retail environment
• Tech-savvy with basic POS or stock control experience
• Current driver’s licence required
