  • Support Australian corporate tax compliance, reporting and governance requirements
  • Assist with the preparation and review of income tax returns, calculations and supporting documentation
  • Support indirect tax and other Australian taxation requirements
  • Provide practical tax advice to internal stakeholders on business activities and transactions
  • Assist with tax audits, reviews and enquiries from relevant authorities
  • Support tax risk management, controls and governance processes
  • Work closely with finance, legal and operational stakeholders across the business
  • Support the APG Tax Manager with regional tax matters and projects
  • Monitor Australian tax developments and assess their potential impact on the organisation
  • Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, reporting and controls

You will be an experienced tax professional with strong knowledge of the Australian taxation environment and the ability to operate effectively within a complex organisation. Ideally, you will bring:

  • Strong professional experience across Australian taxation
  • Sound knowledge of Australian corporate tax and compliance requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Commerce or a related discipline
  • CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification highly regarded
  • Experience within a multinational organisation highly regarded
  • Big 4 or professional services experience also considered
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, collaborative and commercially focused approach

Previous energy sector experience is not essential, and candidates from multinational, resources, industrial, professional services or similarly complex environments are encouraged to apply.

  • $130,000 - $160,000 + performance bonus of up to 20%
