Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee a diverse commercial property portfolio and deliver exceptional facilities management services to key clients.
Your New RoleReporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of a portfolio of commercial assets, ensuring all properties are maintained to the highest standards while delivering excellent client and tenant outcomes.
Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the day-to-day facilities operations across a commercial property portfolio.
  • Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Managing contractor performance, service agreements, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory, regulatory, WHS, and building requirements.
  • Preparing and managing operational and facilities budgets.
  • Conducting regular property inspections and risk assessments.
  • Coordinating minor works, capital projects, and asset life cycle planning.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, tenants, and stakeholders.
  • Managing emergency response procedures and business continuity plans.
  • Monitoring service delivery against agreed KPIs and SLAs.
  • Producing regular reports on maintenance, compliance, financial performance, and operational activities.

What You'll Need to SucceedTo be successful in this position, you will possess:

  • Previous experience in Facilities Management within a commercial property environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building services including HVAC, electrical, fire, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience managing contractors and multiple service providers.
  • Sound understanding of Australian WHS legislation and building compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and control operational expenditure.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities management software systems.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Facilities Management, Property, Building Services, Engineering, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
