MR/HR Truck Driver

Hays Townsville is currently seeking experienced MR and HR Delivery Drivers to join a well-established North Queensland business supplying quality food service and wholesale products to customers across the region.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent full-time hours with a respected local employer that values reliability, customer service and safety. For the right candidate, there is a genuine pathway to transition into a permanent position.

Your new role
Working from the Townsville depot, you'll be responsible for delivering products to a variety of commercial customers while providing a high level of service and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:

• Multi-drop deliveries throughout Townsville and surrounding areas
• Safe loading and unloading of products
• Conducting vehicle safety checks
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
• Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
• Maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

What you'll need to succeed

• Current MR Licence minimum (HR Licence highly regarded)
• Previous delivery driving experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good knowledge of Townsville and surrounding areas
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused attitude
• Ability to undertake manual handling as required

What you'll get in return
$40.00 per hour + penalties
Monday to Friday roster

No weekend work

38-hour work week

Early finishes with approximate hours of 6:00am to 2:00pm
