Our client isdeveloping a mining project located approximately 130km north of Cairns, withina well-established mining region. With development activities underway andongoing exploration programs supporting resource growth, this is an opportunityto join a growing operation at an exciting stage of its project lifecycle.
Your new role
We are currentlyseeking experienced Field Technicians to join a mining project operatingon a 15 days on / 6 days off roster, working day shifts only.
Responsibilities include:

• Core and sample handling
• Sample bagging and preparation
• Data entry and record keeping
• Assisting geologists with drilling and resource definition programs
• General field support activities

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous exploration or field-based experience
• Strong safety focus and ability to work within site procedures
• Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to undertake physically demanding fieldwork
