Specialist Consultant - Obstetrics and Gynaecology - 2500 per day

Locum cover is required from 21 - 25 December 2026.

Position Details:

• Shift times: 0700 - 1700
• Consultant/Specialist/VMO
• GP / Rural Generalist Obstetrician or Consultant Specialist Obstetrician (with neonatal resuscitation skills).

Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable.

Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.

This is a local community, level 3 rural hospital located on the mid-North Coast of New South Wales (NSW).

The hospital is comprised of 81 beds, 10 of which are used for voluntary mental health. There is a 24-hour Emergency Department that is staffed by local GP VMOs supplemented by career medical officers.
