Program Manager - Major Infrastructure Projects

Our Client is looking for an experienced Program Manager to join a major infrastructure organisation on a 6-month contract.
Roster: Monday to Friday
Start date: ASAP
Duration: approx. 6 months
Pay Rate: $95.00 p/h + Super depending on experience

The Role:
This role will lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of electrical infrastructure projects, providing strategic leadership across planning, governance, commercial management, resourcing, stakeholder engagement and delivery performance.
You will be accountable for the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ranging from varying levels of complexity, risk, scale and volume. You will work closely with internal teams, contractors, industry partners and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the planning and delivery of a portfolio of infrastructure projects.
- Develop program objectives, project scopes, budgets, resources and governance structures.
- Lead projects from inception through to approval and delivery.
- Manage program performance against time, cost, quality and business objectives.
- Identify portfolio trends, risks and opportunities using project and performance data.
- Develop strategies to improve delivery performance and operational efficiency.
- Lead and influence multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders.
- Manage complex commercial and tender negotiations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, industry partners and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure program activities comply with relevant legislation, professional standards, policies and procedures.
- Provide senior-level advice and reporting on program performance, risks and delivery outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement across program delivery.
Required Experience:
- 10+ years' experience in senior program/project management roles.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Business Management, Economics, Project Management or Finance.
- Significant experience managing large-scale, complex projects or concurrent project portfolios.
- Strong experience managing multiple workstreams and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience with $50M+ commercial contracts and complex tender negotiations.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Experience engaging with senior leadership and C-suite stakeholders.
- The ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and drive outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to translate performance data into actionable strategies.
- Experience within infrastructure, utilities, energy, construction or similarly complex project environments will be highly regarded.
