Business Analyst

We currently have a vacancy for a highly analytical and commercially minded professional to join a fast-growing business in Orange NSW.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in project modelling, business analysis, reporting and strategic growth initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to have genuine involvement in decision-making through accurate data, while supporting business performance, compliance requirements and future success.

Key responsibilities of this role:

• Financial, commercial and project modelling
• Business performance reporting and data analysis
• Developing insights to support strategic decision-making
• Working with complex datasets to identify trends and opportunities
• Supporting regulatory, compliance and stakeholder reporting requirements
• Contributing to business improvement and growth initiatives
• Collaborating with leadership and operational teams across the business

About You

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Natural problem-solving, curiosity and analytical thinking skills
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and reliability
• A positive approach toward ongoing development
• Confidence working with large and complex datasets
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with exposure to other digital analytical tools highly regarded
• Tertiary qualifications in Economics, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience is highly regarded
• Experience in business analysis, commercial analysis, financial modelling, data analytics or a similar field at any level is highly regarded
• A genuine interest in learning about agriculture, agribusiness and regional industries
