Our client is a well-established global medical device organisation supplying specialised products and equipment to healthcare customers across Australia.

About the Opportunity

Working as part of a small and collaborative warehouse team, you will support day-to-day warehouse operations with a particular focus on outbound activities. 
This position is suited to someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in accuracy. You will work across picking and packing, dispatch, receiving and inventory activities while ensuring stock is handled and processed accurately within a regulated medical device environment.

Duties

  • Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Receive incoming stock and complete put-away activities
  • Process stock transfers and inventory movements
  • Complete cycle counts and assist with stocktakes
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Ensure stock is correctly located, labelled and packaged
  • Prepare shipping labels, consignment notes and freight documentation
  • Coordinate courier bookings and domestic deliveries
  • Complete inventory transactions using SAP
  • Support export documentation and consignment preparation when required
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders regarding stock and order requirements
  • Support the broader warehouse team as required


Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a Storeperson, Warehouse Assistant or similar position is required
  • Medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical or regulated industry experience is preferred
  • Previous ERP or WMS experience; SAP experience advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using pallet jacks and walk-behind warehouse equipment
  • Reliable, accountable and able to work effectively within a small team
  • Flexible attitude with a willingness to assist across different warehouse activities
