Protech are looking for experienced Pipefitters, Riggers, and Scaffolders to perform work with our client, located near Henderson WA on a Monday – Friday roster.

ABOUT THE ROLE
·      Pay rate: Penalty Pay rates + Allowances

·      Mon – Fri Roster – 10 Hour Days
·      Direct Perm Opportunity

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
RIGGERS:

Install and operate rigging equipment including chain blocks, slings, pulleys and winches to lift, lower, move or position machinery, spools, structural steel and other heavy objects. Assess objects to be moved, including their size, shape and weight, and determine the appropriate rigging equipment and method. Inspect and maintain rigging equipment to ensure it is safe and fit for purpose. Read, interpret and follow lift plans and procedures. Undertake rigging activities in accordance with project safety, quality and environmental requirements. Work collaboratively with supervisors, crane crews, trades and other project personnel to support safe and efficient lifting activities.

SCAFFOLDERS:
·   Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in the role:
·   Experienced in the erection, modification and dismantling of Stage scaffolding systems across mining and industrial sites.
·   Proficient in Kwikstage & Tube & Clip scaffolding, including reading drawings, setting out structures and ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
·   Strong understanding of scaffold components, load ratings, tie-ins, bracing and access solutions.
·   Committed to working safely in high-risk environments, with experience supporting shutdown, maintenance and construction projects.

PIPEFITTERS:
·   Fabricate and install various sizes of pipework, including a range of exotic materials and associated piping components.
·  Cut, bevel and fit up pipes in accordance with isometric drawings.
·   Assemble pipe spools, including valves and associated instruments.
·   Read and interpret relevant drawings and project requirements to complete pipe fitting activities safely and accurately.
·   Complete work in accordance with project safety, quality and environmental requirements.
·   Work collaboratively with supervisors, trades and other project personnel to support safe and efficient delivery of works.

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
RIGGERS:

High Risk Work Licence – Rigging (RB/RI) Working at Heights Construction White/Blue Card Current Australian C Class Driver’s Licence (minimum Current Australian MR/HR Class Driver’s Licence (desirable) High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (desirable)

SCAFFOLDERS:

High Risk Work Licence – Rigging (SI/SA) Working at Heights Construction White/Blue Card Current Australian C Class Driver’s Licence (minimum Current Australian MR/HR Class Driver’s Licence (desirable) High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (desirable)

PIPEFITTERS:
·   Trade Certificate – Mechanical or Boilermaker
·   Working at Heights
·   Construction White/Blue Card
·   Current Australian C Class Driver’s Licence
·   High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (desirable)
