Job Description

• Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements and external reporting requirements
• Oversee month-end and year-end financial accounting processes
• Manage technical accounting matters and provide expert accounting advice
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities
• Drive improvements across financial controls, governance, and compliance frameworks
• Lead and mentor finance professionals within a collaborative team environment
• Partner with senior stakeholders to support informed decision-making
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and finance transformation projects
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information across the organisation

The Successful Applicant

You'll be a technically strong accounting professional who combines attention to detail with the ability to influence and lead others.

Ideally you'll bring:

• CA or CPA qualification
• Strong financial accounting and statutory reporting experience
• A background within government, large corporates, or other complex organisations
• Experience managing audits and navigating technical accounting issues
• Proven leadership or team management capability
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
