Position: Retail Manager

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $90,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Bondi Junction NSW 2022

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Manager to lead our store operations and drive strong sales results. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 3 years of retail experience who is passionate about customer service and team leadership.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth running of the business
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
• Deliver exceptional customer service and handle escalated customer issues
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve results
• Manage rostering, staff performance, and training
• Maintain optimal stock levels, conduct stocktakes, and reduce shrinkage
• Ensure store presentation meets visual merchandising standards
• Maintain health, safety, and company compliance standards.

Requirements:

• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or higher qualification
• At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in retail (supervisory or management role preferred)
• Previous management or supervisory experience at a Subway store will be highly regarded
• Experience working in the fast food industry
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Customer-focused with a proactive attitude
• Experience with POS systems and basic reporting
