Your new role
We are currently partnering with a range of clients, including local hospitals, maintenance providers, and residential and commercial contractors. As a qualified electrician, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Testing and tagging equipment
• Rough in and fit out of commercial electrical systems
• Home rewires and refurbishments and full-scale renovations
• Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance
• Diagnosing and fault-finding on electrical systems
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
• Installing conduits, switchboards, panels, wiring, switches, and electrical components
• Performing upgrades and modifications to existing electrical systems
• Commissioning and testing new installations
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults in a timely manner
• Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting of completed work

What you'll need to succeed

• White Card
• Current CPR/LVR certification
• Own hand and electrical tools
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Satisfactory employment references
• Recent experience in electrical work
• Australian Electrical Licence (unrestricted)
• Elevated Work Platform (under or over 11m)
