As a result of continued growth and future succession planning, an opportunity now exists for an accomplished Family Lawyer to join the practice in a senior leadership capacity.
The Opportunity:
This is a rare opportunity for a capable and commercially astute Family Lawyer to step into a senior role with genuine influence.
Working alongside an experienced leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the Family Law practice while continuing to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients navigating complex and often sensitive matters.
The successful candidate may join at Special Counsel or Partner level, depending on experience and capability. Beyond technical legal expertise, the firm is seeking a professional who can contribute strategically to the business, foster a positive team culture and lead by example.
You will be entrusted with managing significant client matters, supporting and mentoring lawyers within the team and helping drive operational excellence across the practice.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Significant post-admission experience practising predominantly in Family Law
- Strong expertise across parenting matters, property settlements, mediation and Family Court proceedings
- Proven leadership capability with the ability to mentor, motivate and develop legal professionals
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work cohesively with fellow leaders and management
- Highly developed relationship-building skills and a reputation for outstanding client service
- Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of the operational requirements of a successful legal practice
- The confidence to manage a busy practice while contributing to strategic decision-making
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- A solutions-focused mindset coupled with sound judgement and professionalism
