Store Manager ((ANZSCO ****** - Retail Manager)

Full-time/Permanent

$80,000 - $85,000 (salary will be commensurate to qualifications and experience)

Duties and responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, supervise and motivate retail staff to maintain efficient operations and achieve sales and customer service objectives.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote the store’s products and services.
• Lead the retail team in achieving daily, monthly and annual sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, customer preferences, seasonal demand and competitor activity, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Determine the appropriate product range to meet customer demand, sales targets and margin expectations.
• Plan and coordinate promotions, product displays, in-store events and marketing campaigns.
• Train staff to provide knowledgeable product advice, assist customers and identify opportunities for complementary sales.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment while minimising wastage and stock losses.
• Prepare sales forecasts using historical performance, customer demand and market trends.
• Review sales results regularly to assess performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Manage the store’s financial performance, including revenue, operating costs, margins and expenditure.
• Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenditure, analyse variances and take corrective action where necessary.
• Ensure the store, displays and storage areas are maintained in a clean, safe and visually appealing condition.
• Ensure compliance with work health and safety requirements, employment obligations, consumer laws and other applicable legal requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant AQF Diploma
• 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications
• Applicants with qualifications will need to demonstrate 1 year of relevant experience

Cook (ANZSCO: ****** - Cook)

Full-time/Permanent

$80,000 - $85,000 (salary will be commensurate to qualifications and experience)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily preparation of all ingredients and menu items
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications
• Prepare food for special dietary needs
• Prepare and store all meat, poultry and vegetables and other food according to standard and following procedures closely
• Maintain a clean kitchen and use kitchen appliances and equipment safely
• Restock all items as needed throughout shift and ensure items are as ordered and standards are met
• Understand and maintain knowledge of proper use and maintenance of all equipment in cooking station
• Ensure that all health, safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
• Undertake cleaning, sanitation of all kitchen areas

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant AQF Cert III including 2 years of on-the-job experience or Cert IV
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience may replace the requirement of having a qualification.
• Applicants with qualifications must demonstrate 1 year of relevant experience.
