We are seeking experienced and passionate Regional Heads of Departments (HoD) to join OneSchool Global Australia and drive excellence in teaching, learning and curriculum development across our national network.

This is a unique opportunity for an educational leader to influence student outcomes beyond a single campus, supporting teachers and academic programs across Australia while remaining connected to classroom practice and contemporary pedagogy.

The Position
As a Head of Department, you will provide strategic leadership within your faculty area, ensuring high-quality curriculum delivery, assessment practices, moderation processes and professional growth opportunities for teaching staff.

Working collaboratively with campus leaders, Assistant Heads of Department and teachers, you will champion best-practice teaching, support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to exceptional educational outcomes for students across our campuses in Australia.

In this role you will be expected to:

  • Provide leadership and direction for your faculty area across Australia.
  • Lead curriculum development, implementation and review activities.
  • Support high-quality assessment, moderation and quality assurance processes.
  • Coach, mentor and develop teachers through professional learning initiatives.
  • Analyse student achievement data and support evidence-based improvement strategies.
  • Develop and share curriculum resources and best-practice teaching approaches.
  • Collaborate with regional and campus leaders to achieve strategic educational outcomes.
  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement in teaching and learning.

Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have demonstrated educational leadership experience and a proven ability to influence teaching and learning outcomes. You will possess:

  • Relevant teaching qualifications and current teacher registration.
  • Significant curriculum and pedagogical expertise within your discipline.
  • Experience leading teams, projects or improvement initiatives within a school setting.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring and professional development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • The ability to build collaborative relationships across multiple campuses and teams.
  • A commitment to educational excellence and continuous improvement.
