One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments is looking to engage an experienced Senior API Technical Lead to play a critical part in the ongoing enhancement and delivery of an API Integration platform within a complex federal government environment. The successful Senior API Technical Lead will secure a 12 month contract with the view to be extended for a further 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate!

The successful Senior API Technical Lead will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Perform technical review of support changes, ensuring best practice methodology is employed and organisational architecture patterns are adhered to.
• Lead the technical development of the API Gateway, following the principles of the Scheme Digital Platform architecture and roadmap in line with the Project schedule.
• Hands-on approach in monitoring production environment and providing enhancement with trouble shooting API and integration issues with MuleSoft.

The successful Senior API Technical Lead will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience in designing and developing API Gateway integration solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in building and working with integration.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset with ability to work seamlessly within cross-functional teams, articulating complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
