One of Australia’s leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage Senior API Automation Test Analysts to provide specialist testing and quality assurance capability across complex ICT programs and projects. The successful Senior API Automation Test Analysts will focus on API, integration and backend services, developing comprehensive automated testing approaches to ensure services and system integrations are reliable, secure and meet business and technical requirements.

The successful Senior API Automation Test Analysts will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Designing and executing comprehensive testing for APIs, integration services and backend systems
• Developing and maintaining automated API test suites and reusable testing frameworks
• Testing RESTful APIs across functional, integration, regression, end-to-end and negative scenarios
• Supporting the integration of automated API testing into CI/CD pipelines

The successful Senior API Automation Test Analysts will have experience in the following:

• Extensive experience testing APIs, integration services and backend systems
• Strong experience designing and implementing automated API testing using contemporary tools and frameworks
• Experience testing RESTful APIs including requests, responses, data, authentication and error handling
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills within multidisciplinary ICT teams
