One of Australia’s leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage an experienced Agent Experience (AX) Lead / Lead Accessibility Advisor to champion accessibility and inclusive design across complex digital products and services. The successful AX Lead will work across product, design, business and technology teams to embed accessibility throughout the digital delivery lifecycle. The successful candidate will be offered an initial 12 month contract with a 12 month extension option and rewarding contracting rates.

The successful Agent Experience (AX) Lead / Lead Accessibility Advisor will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Leading accessibility and inclusive design practices across digital products and services
• Establishing and continuously improving accessibility standards, guidance and testing approaches
• Collaborating with designers, developers, architects and product teams to improve interfaces, reusable components and design systems
• Leading accessibility testing activities involving assistive technologies and people with disability

The successful Agent Experience (AX) Lead / Lead Accessibility Advisor will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience leading accessibility, inclusive design or digital user experience initiatives in complex environments
• Strong practical knowledge of accessibility standards, assistive technologies and inclusive design principles
• Experience conducting accessibility reviews, testing and remediation activities
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience influencing multidisciplinary design, development and delivery teams
